Dr. David R. Boyd

Dr. David R. Boyd is an Associate Professor of Law, Policy, and Sustainability at IRES, an environmental lawyer, and an internationally renowned expert on human rights and the environment. He was appointed as the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights and the environment and has presented six reports to the UN Human Rights Council explaining that a healthy environment includes clean air, a safe climate, a healthy biosphere, sufficient access to water, sustainable food, and a non-toxic, unpolluted environment.
